Donald Trump Might Be Moving To New Jersey This Summer To Step Up His Fundraising Efforts

Since leaving the White House in January 2021, former U.S. President Donald Trump has made Florida his home base, and most of his family has come with him. Children Donald Jr. and Ivanka Trump have also invested in real estate in the area, and Tiffany Trump and Marla Maples have both been seen scoping out the area.

However, there might be a shift in the works: according to a newly released Business Insider report.

According to this report, Trump intends to move to New Jersey this year, and not just to escape the warm heat of a Florida season. According to Trump insiders who talked with the outlet, the former president is trying to ramp up his fundraising activities, and there are a host of reasons why New Jersey is a safer place to work from than the Florida.

Though Trump has received a lot of political and personal patronage since establishing himself at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, his former home in New York City gave him better access to top contributors and financial strategists.

Unnamed Trump advisors who talked to Insider say he hopes to duplicate the access by relocating to his Bedminster, NJ, golf course, where a meeting with those big names won’t entail a plaza.
